From The Editor – Sept ’26

Hi everyone, and welcome to Issue #34! Let’s get into what’s inside this issue.

First, we have an editorial called “Between the Sheets” featuring Ann, last month’s cover model. This was taken at an amazing hotel where we shot in the very eclectic bathroom, desk area, and of course, the bed. We used natural light, which was great that day, and her natural movements and poses. This editorial comes with its own video.

Next, we have “Little Black Boots” with Marina, a returning model from the early issues. We shot this a while ago in a little studio downtown. It’s just her, a net bodysuit, and her boots. Simple, but beautiful. Marina is a great poser.

Then, we have “Pool Side Provocateur” with Natalie, our new favorite. This was shot at a Los Angeles pool that we’ve published other looks from. Here she is wearing some black lingerie and then not. This editorial comes with its own video.

Now, let’s explore our one and only article; an in-depth one! “The Science of Shinrin-Yoku” (also known as Forest Bathing) is a research-backed Japanese practice of mindfully immersing oneself in a forest atmosphere through all the senses to promote physical and mental health.

Up next is “Afternoon Delight” with LiliAnn, a newcomer. It was shot by photographer _______________, in her apartment in Minneapolis on her favorite couch. We plan to publish more of her work and even set up a photoshoot with her in the future.

Then, we have “Bold and Beauty” with Luci. This was shot in a Los Angeles hotel on the bed. It was in an interesting hotel with orange couches and great natural light. I thought it would be a cool contrast between the message on her t-shirt and her being bottomless. This editorial comes with its own video.

Next, we’re diving into “Bare and Bold” with Lucy. It was shot in the same eclectic hotel as an earlier editorial, but this time in one of their suites and featuring that interesting chair. She is wearing nothing but the boots to complete her look. This editorial also has its own video.

Finally, we have “American Classic” featuring newcomer Grace. It was shot in my old home/studio in Austin, with natural light. When she is seated, she is on my old coffee table. The jeans rolled up and the cut underwear made the look.

Now, take a seat, relax, and enjoy Issue#34! Cheers, Jeff Gottlieb (Editor-In-Chief)
